Setting up wikispaces could be good. Wikispaces is one of many I have trialed and I find this easy for everyone from teachers to students to navigate. Also, for schools, there are no advertisements/banners. I used in one in my middle school classes on nanotechnology as an adjunct to several projects we were doing such as http://aag.wikispaces.com
Could you check if this works in China? I would suggest setting up dais.wikispaces.com as the address with courses having subsets of that. For example, I set up one for The Dwight School in NYC http://dwight.wikispaces.com/ with the social studies being a link from there - http://dwightsocialstudies.wikispaces.com/home
